Did Jennifer Aniston make that poster?

Actually it was Chris Martin, I'm sure of it! Basterd is spelled wrong! Stupid brit has always been jealous of Gwen's first love.

Hmm. I could see that. Isn't that what the song "Yellow" is about, too?

Mostly yeah, but some parts of that song are actually about the color orange. Not many people know that.

(I know, I'm sort of a wizard when it comes to interpreting Coldplay songs.)

You know that song "Politik"? It's not about politics at all! Crazy! It's mostly about how European Mars bars don't have almonds... So, I guess it's sorta political, if you're in the almond business.

Those are some fine Coldplay interpretive skills you've got there. Perhaps you can apply them to help me out of a quandry. I've long held the belief that the Coldplay song "In My Place" is in fact about Charlotte's Web. Specifically, it is the events chronicled in the 1973 animated adaptation E.B. White's classic as told from the point of view of Templeton the Rat.

I think it is clearest in the lines, "I was scared, I was scared; Tired and underprepared; But I wait for you." That's just so overtly Templeton. I mean, I can't even write it out without imagining it being sung in Paul Lynde's voice.

So am I right or what?

Um, I think you guys missed the point of this posting. It's about the new Quentin Tarantino movie. Called Inglorious Basterds.

You're right, Ryan! That song IS about Charlotte's Web!

In fact, if you watch Charlotte's Web with the volume down whilst listening to X & Y it totally goes together!

When Charlotte gives her last words to Wilbur you actually hear Chris Martin singing:

"The wheels just keep on turning, the drummer keeps on drumming, I don't know which way I'm going...Hold my hand inside your hands, I need someone who understands, I need someone someone who hears, for you I've waited all these years.

For you I'd wait till Kingdom Come...."

Its damn right tear-jerking genius!

Godbless you Coldplay!
